| Frequently Asked Questions 1. By what authority can you issue diplomas? We are a private home school and our curriculum includes: Reading, Spelling, Grammar, Math, History and Citizenship. This meets the State of Texas requirements for a State of Texas High School Diploma. **You must be at least 17 years of age.** 2. How long are my transcripts kept on file? They will be kept on file for ten years, and then mailed to the address of record. If they are returned by mail, they will be destroyed. 3. What if I fail the exam? We allow two free re-tests per year. 4. How much is tuition? Tuition starts at $ 200.00. Please see payments page for available packages. 5. What if a school or a business does not accept my Texas High School Diploma? In Texas, home schools have been determined by the courts to be private schools. Please read the following information. In note; if a school or business does not accept your Diploma, ask to see their policies. If they are discriminating against Home Schooler's by treating them differently than graduates, they may be setting themselves up for legal action.
